Boy’s Basketball Meeting on Wednesday

Coach Armstrong is meeting with all returning boy’s basketball players as well as new student-athletes interested in ALA Gilbert North Boy’s Basketball.  The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8 from 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM in the Media Center.  The Media Center is located upstairs in the Lincoln Building.

Coach Armstrong hopes these unusual hoops will help team’s shooting

ALA Boy’s Basketball coach hopes these backboard-less hoops will help his program improve its 3 point shooting from 24% in 2018 – 2019 to an ambitious 35% for their upcoming season.  Using equipment from basketball’s cousin, “netball,” Coach Armstrong has his teams training and playing on basketball hoops with no backboards.  In addition,  the baskets have a smaller circumference
