The ALA – Eagles grabbed an early lead on its way to a 17-2 victory over Champion – Chandler on Wednesday.

The Eagles put up six runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Miah Ibarra, a single by Ramsey, a groundout by Bria Lawrence, and Allyson Sage, and an error on a ball put in play by Catriona Flannagan.

Ibarra was the winning pitcher for ALA – Eagles. She pitched four innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out nine and walking one.

The Lady Eagles collected nine hits. Danica Tseko, Willow Ramsey, and Catriona Flannagan each racked up multiple hits for the Eagles. They tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Alina Brown led the way with four.

The Lady Eagles complete their regular season with a 12-1 record, as they head into the CAA State Championship Tournament this weekend.
