3A State — ALA Football upsets Coolidge 27-21

ALA Gilbert North upset host Coolidge in the first round of the 3A State Football championships on Friday 27-21. Eagle football rushed for 334 yards on the evening, getting touchdowns from Jacob King, Easton Webster and Kayden Orona. Webster ran for 165 yards and Jacob McAleavy added 103 yards in the win. Cross Country Boys win Sectionals; Girls second

It was a good weekend for Eagle Cross Country as our boys team won Sectionals and our girls were runners-up at Crossroads park. Eagle Boys won with 56 points edging Arete Prep who had 59 pts. Varsity Pom on top at State Qualifier

Varsity Pom won their state qualifier last Saturday at Shadow Mountain High School.
